What I really like about this bar are the perfectly spaced and angled grips. It really gives you a ton of versatility with the exercises you can do. Plus, the angles are much better for people who have wrist/shoulder pain. So, if you are getting a Swiss Bar to relieve pain, this is probably the bar for you.

Outside of the relatively low weight capacity, it is kind of a bummer there isn’t any knurling on the grips. Still though, it’s clearly not made for ultra heavy-duty lifting, so the lack of knurling is understandable.

The big downside is the reports of packaging being less than ideal. And, personally, I would prefer more angled grips and less neutral grips, but that’s definitely a personal opinion. Valor Fitness’s bar is the best option for those on a budget. It has a lower weight capacity than any other bar on this list, but if you couple that with the low price, it is a fantastic beginners bar.

The grip layout is really interesting, going from neutral to angled and back to neutral. This offers a wide variety of ways to use the bar. The grips are knurled which makes them easier to grip. The biggest issue are the two closest grips. They are just a bit too close together, making it uncomfortable to use them for pressing movements.

Still though, for the price and quality, this bar is a great choice for beginners and budget home gym enthusiasts.
